The business previously traded as Ample Energy Special Projects, and now operates under the name Solar Advancis to better reflect its focus on solar PV installation, maintenance and commercial project support.
We work mainly on contractor-led and new-build developments, helping deliver solar PV systems as part of wider construction programmes. Our role is to provide reliable installation support, clear communication and practical site experience from the early stages of a project through to completion.

Solar Advancis is the trading name of Ample Energy Special Projects Ltd - the same company, now with a focused identity around commercial solar PV. Sam O'Mara, the founder and director, has spent over a decade delivering projects under that name, and that experience carries directly into every job Solar Advancis takes on today.
Sam holds industry certifications and brings both the technical depth and the practical site experience that commercial contractors need from a specialist subcontractor.
Solar Advancis also works alongside Ample Plumbing & Heating to offer combined solar thermal and heating solutions, useful for clients looking to cover both renewable electricity and hot water in a single coordinated package.
His approach is simple: be straightforward with clients, turn up when you say you will, and build the kind of working relationship where contractors come back for the next job. Most of Solar Advancis' work comes through people who have worked with Sam before — and that's exactly how he likes it.
